The possible reasons for what you have seen like small growths on tonsils and cheeks can be due to one of the following reasons: Granuloma formation secondary to some allergens taken orally to cause reaction. Papilloma. Minor salivary gland tumors. Hypertrophy of lymphoid tissues causing enlarged tonsils and also narrowing of throat due to additional pharyngitis and adenoid or so. This can be diagnosed by the following ways: Consult an ENT Surgeon and ask for clinical evaluation as well as investigations bike biopsy of cheek lumps, MRI for throat and tonsils, relevant tests of blood. This will get an appropriate diagnosis and this allow a proper management. Take Povidone Iodine gargles. Plenty of oral fluids.Further tests as might have suggested by your Doctors.
