What Causes Swelling Of Eyes During Sleep?

I have woken up twice now with my eye having almost been swollen shut. The first time it looked like a stye as there was a pimple like dot on eyelid, which never quite went away, persisted for about a month. 2 months later I woke up to find that my eye had swollen up again. I thought this was strange because I have never had this happen to me in my life. Is this common?

It seems like stye. Did u take treatment first time? If it is recurring then we should find out the cause. Stye may be due to refractory error or allergic conjunctivitis which cause repeated touching to eye because of strain or itching. Otherwise it may be sign of diabetes also. Although there is a long list of causes but we should first rule out common ones only.

Welcome to HCM portal
There has to be a reason for something like this. It has to be a infection if painful and allergy if painless. This has to be delt with accordingly. Antibiotics and anti inflammatory drugs if painful and anti allergic if painless
