What Causes Swelling Of Left Jaw And Ear?

Hi, my name is Daniel, I am 20 years old.
A few days ago I woke up to the left side of my jaw being badly swollen and my left ear being swollen to the point of not hearing anything through it. It isn't bruised or anything but it feels like somebody has punched me really hard. Though I have not been in a fight with anybody I was wondering what could be causing this. I have been taking Ibuprofen to ease the swelling but its not really helping that much.

hi from what I can make out it appears to be an infection possibly a boil if your ear canal skin which can be very painful... you would need to see your gp and have your canals examined and proceed for there..
