What Causes Swelling Of Taste Buds?

I have my taste buds swollen mostly in the topfront of my tongue...theyre the same color as my tongue(pink) but some of them have a red dot. I dont know what is causing this reaction. I have been kissing a lot lately... should I worry... its been more than a week and I still have them

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

As per your complain it seems like Transient Lingual Pappilitis which causes inflammation and swelling of the tongue papillae and it can be due to local irritation caused by hot foods or chemicals, acid reflux, hormonal changes, stress etc..
Nothing to worry, you can do warm saline gargle, take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen, do cold compresses or suck ice pops, avoid spicy and hot foods and take multivitamin supplements..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
