Hi! Im Philippines. I would like to ask about inflammation. My son are currently suffering from swelling of the cheek, his Pedia prescribed Natravox (Co-amoxiclav). And according to the doctor it is not mumps. What do you call this kind of disease? Thank you in advance
Swelling ,if not Mumps ,is likely to be Infective. Bacterial infections of salivary glands or of Lymph nodes/ or subcutaneous tissues(below skin areas) may cause such swellings. Co amoxyclav is a good choice in such cases. Best wishes
