What Causes Swelling On Bottom Lip After Taking Ecstasy?

When I took ecstasy for the first time, the left side of my bottom lip swole up immensely. Then second time slightly less yet still very noticeable. It becomes puffy and bulging. Is this some sort of allergic reaction? What could I do to prevent this or treat it afterwards? It remains swollen for the next few days. Should I be concerned? Thanks.
