What Causes Swelling On Forehead After Horsefly Bites?
My 15 year old daughter has an allergic reaction to horsefly bites. She swells up where she was bitten. She was bitten in the forehead today and it is quite swollen. I have given her benedryl and applied a topical to the bite. Should I be concerned with the swelling being it is on her forehead?

As she was bitten on the forehead,the swelling is because of the allergic reaction itself as in any other site.
So the anti allergy medicines that you have given should be enough.
