What Causes Swelling On The Frontal Region Of The Neck?

I am a student and pursuing my PhD in Nanobioscience in I.I.T Bombay (Mumbai). My younger sister has a problem in frontal region of neck, a swelling is there. It is slightly harder and nowadays it has been prominent. Can you please suggest me what should we do.

Hi,
Swelling in front of neck could be due to thyroid swelling. This can be enlargement during puberty / hormonal imbalance. Take her to a doctor, for physical examination and pathological test as per need followed by needful treatment.
