HI, my daughter had a concussion without being knocked out last November. Recently her upper left eye lid, which is the side she hit, has been swollen and she said it gets blurry sometimes. We have tried new contacts and solution. We went to a dr last week and he said he did not see anything..was expecting a sty, but there was nothing.
Hello It seems from the history that your daughter is having swelling of the upper eyelid following injury. This is because of collection of blood in the layers of skin of eyelid as a result of injury. This is common following injury to the face or head above the level of eye brow. This will decrease slowly as the blood gets absorbed. No treatment is required generally and applying cold compression will help.
Thank you
