What Causes Swelling On The Vaginal Opening While Treating UTI?

Was diagnosed with UTI on Aug 9 and got 2 meds an antibiotic and pain med. The pain med has turned my urine orange and allhough the burning ceased... my lower back hurts as well as my butt. Then I noriced after the 2nd day of meds that one vagina lip was swollen. Is that normal? This is my first one.

The swollen vaginal labia is not related to antibiotics usage. It may be a vaginal infection causing it or possibly a Bartholin cyst.

The antibiotics and painkillers you are using can help you reduce pain and swelling. Also, you can do warm and cold baths to help drainage if it is Bartholin cyst.
