What Causes Swelling, Redness Around Nose, Cheeks And Under Eyes After Facial?
I have applied bleach yesterday afternoon and done a facial in the evening. Today morning when i woke up my face is bit swollen and turned red around the nose and cheeks under the eyes. What can be done to reduce it. I took a cetrizine and applied coconut water mask
I understand your concern for swelling, redness around nose, cheeks and under eyes after facial. It appears from your query that you have developed contact dermatitis after the facial.
I first and foremost suggest you to not expose yourself to direct sunlight and external environment as it can cause more aggravation of the problem. Also I suggest you to not to go for any further beauty procedures on face. In your kind of cases I suggest my patients to apply a mild steroid lotion such as fluticasone or Mometasone for 3-4 days of period.
For maintenance therapy if I were your treating doctor then would have prescribed you calamine lotion to be applied for 2 times daily and should be applied at night time.
For itching I prefer to give an antihistamine such as cetrizine or levocetrizine or loratadine for two times a day for few days.
All the best.
