Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
When I fell, my knee hit an exposed 1/2 pipe. Went to ER with in 40 min of injury, x-rays read and thankfully no fracture, however I did receive 4 stitches. It has been 6 days and my knee is still making a swishing sound. Even though I have an appointment in two days with the dr. I would like to know if I should be concern about the swishing sound when I try and bend my knee?
Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
Wishing you good health.

What Causes Swishing Sound In The Knee?
Hello, I have studied your case. Traumatic injury can lead to bruise due to hematoma formation. Due to wound there can be capsular tight ness leading to sound. You need to consult doctor for diagnosis. He may advise MRI knee for further details. Physiotherapy like ultrasound and IFT may help you. Physio like CPM will also help you.
