Swollen eye lid can not be linked to contact lens. This can be blepharitis and obs tructed gland of lid. However remove the lens and clean the lids with sterile swab. apply neosporine eye ointment in lid margin. Apply ofloxacin.3%eye drop8hourly. Apply it for ten days and when swelling subsides use contact lens.
