What Causes Swollen Feet In A Smoker Diagnosed With COPD?

My father was diagnosed with copd a couple of months ago he still continues to smoke...over the last month or so he is like his old self lots of energy & doin his usual day to day things with ease....i saw him today he is stil feeln really good but his feet are extremely swollen...is this related ?

Yes it is.
If he is getting leg swelling and has been diagnosed with COPD, there is a high chance of he getting his right sided heart affected due to COPD.
In medical terms we call it as cor pulmonale, it means affection of the right sided heart due to lung problems.
Get a 2decho done and see a pulmonologist or a cardiologist for the same
