What Causes Swollen Itchy Breasts While Suffering From Breast Lump?

I have a lump in my left breast diagnosed by mammogram and have a 6mo follow up this month. Recently I ve noticed that my left breast is visibly larger than my right and it has started itching around the nipple so much that it is waking me up at night. What could this be?

Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Difference in the size of the breast is present in breast lump and breast carcinoma.
Itching around the nipples can be present in nipple eczema or dermatitis.
I will suggest you to consult your doctor for proper examination, a repeat mammography and get appropriate treatment timely.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
