What Causes Swollen Legs While Suffering From Retinal Spot?
Recently my feet, ankles and lower legs have started to swell. Normally towards the end of the day with some of the swelling subsiding over night. Most recently it looks like the swelling is more so in my lower legs than my ankles. I've also had my blood pressure taken at 150/80 and several weeks ago during an optometrist appt they found a spot on my retina. I'm always tired (like I can pratically take a nap anywhere, anytime). I was also diagnosed with a "post respiratory infection cough" two months ago. My doctor told me that this is normally and can last for up to 12 weeks. The cough is subsiding but is sporadically annoying. I also find myself short of breath sometimes. I'm going to go to an opthamologist next week for a follow-up. I've also changed doctors and will see my new doctor for an initial appointment as well on the 24th. So I'm in between appts and a little worried... should I have any immediate concern?
Retinal spot is subtle thing with numerous cause , but need.to think about it as far as its not affecting your vision... N there's no co relation of retinal spots with legs swelling unless those are hypertension manifestations over retina...which needs to be confirmed by VITREO RETINAL Surgeon... So I suggest you to keep your blood pressure in check... Nothing else is required from ophthalmic side...
