When a person comes to my clinic first of all I examine him/her if these are matted lymph nodes or not and then I go for a simple FNAC/needle BIOPSY TEST from at least two different nodules which are larger! In such cases I think of few possibilities like: 1. non-specific infection in the scalp skin like dandruff, viral infection, cold attack etc. benign and not to worry; possibility 98% 2. tuberculosis or sarcoidosis-like chronic disorder possibility 1.5% 3. lymphoma/leukemia or metastatic carcinoma or any other malignant tumor possibility only 0.05% Therefore you must see your doctor for a physical examination and few necessary investigations and thereby relieving your tension.
