Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
As per your complain a lump on the roof of mouth can be due to a number of reasons like it can be due to bacterial or viral infection which is also a cause of
tonsillitis or it can be an inflamed or irritated mucous retention cyst or an inflamed and enlarged minor
salivary gland leading to formation of an ADENOMA, it can also be a
PYOGENIC GRANULOMA which is an overgrowth of tissue and is caused due to trauma, injury or
hormonal changes..
You should consult an oral physician and get evaluated and he can advise you to take antibiotics like
Azithromycin, warm saline gargles, throat lozenges etc..
Avoid hot, hard and spicy food to prevent irritation..
Take a soft and cool diet..
If the lump does not resolve surgical removal can be advised..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards..
