What Causes Swollen Mass On The Neck?

I have a mass in right side of neck its not as swollen as it was its been about 3 months now when I got checked the doctors said it may have been a swollen gland but I told them its been swollen for about 3 months they gave anti inflammatory medicine it went down a little but it hasn t gone away as of yet I recently got my blood glucose levels checked and my results came back normal I was a little low in vitamin D What do you suggest it may be if its not thyroid or swollen gland My food tends to get stuck where its swollen at and I have trouble swallowing sometimes Also I have acid regurgitating from foods and heart burn Iam only 23yrs old I did get medicine for the heart burn And nauseating medicine to keep food down Any idea what I should have my doctor test me for Its a swelling I can see when I look in the mirror its soft when I touch it but I can feel the difference from both sides of the neck I just want a little closure on this situation thanks

swelling can be due to many medical reasons since you dont have any other symptoms like fever, weight loss or gain, etc it doesnt allow to pin point to speicfy diagonosis. it can also be due to minor issues like issue in lymphatic drainage since you said antiinflammatory drug has helped a bit. i would suggest try aromatherapy manual lympahtic massage for few days. note the difference and follow.
