What Causes Swollen Painful Knot On The Calf After Knee Injury?
My husband has an injured left knee for about a week now, just swollen, while rubbing it tonight I noticed a painful round knot under the skin on the outside of his calf, about the size of a quarter. There is no discoloration, no warmth, just wondering if it is something that I need to take him to the ER for or if it could wait 2 days for a regular Dr. visit.
