Hi, Most probably the lesion you described would be pyoderma. The disease is caused by bacteria..staphylococci affecting hair follicle leading to pyoderma. You might have tender erythematous swelling. There may be frank pus after few days. It may be ruptured with pus discharge. You consult Dermatologist for perfect diagnosis. He might suggests some investigations to rule out DM,HIV or other internal diseases. Poor immunity and poor hygiene might cause such problem. Antibiotics like cefixime in proper dose along with anti inflammatory drugs like nimesulide may be considered. Antibiotic cream like fusidic acid may be applied.
