Hi I have had swollen glands - mostly salivary and ribbed tongue for about a year. Biopsy coming for sjogren s but now excess saliva. Always elevated CRP elevated platelets systemic inflammation and infection. Other stuff in body going on .... do u want to know that too? Any ideas?
Hello, Your full medical history including medications would need to be evaluated. Changes in medication can affect salivary flow. Dry mouth is a common medication side effect. Dehydration is another consideration. If your body is fighting an infection, you may be compromised with your natural balance of bacteria. You may suffer from vitamin deficiencies if your body is not in harmony. Keep up with diagnostic testing for possible disorders. If you have a main diagnosis and treatment is successful, plan on some time needed for balance to return to the oral cavity. Thank you for your inquiry.
