What Causes Swollen Stomach After Having An Abortion?
Hi doctor. My friend is pregnant and get done abortion in clinic by giving her injection. . Only one day after inj she gets period later after one week again she gets back period and it s continue for 1 week. But after few days her stomach get little swelling and pain. So can you please guide whether abortion is successful or not

The swollen stomach after being tried for abortion may be because of
a. continuation of pregnancy
b. Infection
So, please consult your gynaecologist for check scan for product of conception and physical examination to rule out other causes like infection.
