General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to a tonsil stones. They can cause inflammation and infection of the tonsils. I suggest using anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to relieve the symptoms.

I also suggest using antibiotics such as Augmentin twice a day for a week. Gargling with salt water can help.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
