my tounge is swollen and hurts when i move it. i checked it wi > my finger. and its very sore next to my throat. i did have an irritated throat but took medicine for it. what could cause this? i'm hurting bad. and cant go to a dr. because i have no health instance i'm 19, weigh 360lbqs. and im 5 ft 7

As per your complain it seems that you have inflammation and swollen Circumvallate Papillae that are present at the back of the tongue and irritation and inflammation of throat can lead to inflammation of the back of tongue.. You should gargle with a numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine.. Take Ibuprofen to relieve inflammation and pain.. You can do warm saline gargles.. You can also continue taking medication for throat irritation depending upon the cause like throat infection, acid reflux, post nasal drip etc.. In case if the symptoms does not resolve in a week consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated..
