I was sick about two weeks ago first with flu symptom and then came down with a sore throat that was off and on for about a week. It has been two weeks with no symptoms except my right tonsil and gland in neck are very swollen. I can see lump in my neck. Will this go away or should I be concerned?
If only tonsilar enlargement without any symptoms no worry. Use salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. Avoid cool drinks and ice creams. If you develop symptoms like pain, fever or difficulty in swallowing then consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
