What Causes Swollen Tonsils And Thick Salivation After Taking THC?

I took about 15mg of thc earlier today and now my saliva is thick and my tonsils have a slight burning feelin are coated with mucusand slightly swollen. Is this related to the thc? I googled it and found that a lot of people develop tonsillitis(which I don t think this is because there s no nasty white stuff on my tonsils) after SMOKING marijuana, but I can t find anything about edibles affecting tonsils. Should I be worried?

THC is the primary ingredient in marijuana.
You dont have to be worried, everything will be ok after some time.
