What Causes Swollen Tonsils With Bumps?

I have no pain in my throat. However if I look at it, my hard pallet looks as if it s bruised and my soft pallet has a yellow tint. My tonsils are swollen with bumps on them and on the very back of my throat to the left and right there s two small bumps on the sides and it s red in my throat. Could it be some form of infection?

Hi.
The causes of swollen tonsils with the bumps are- Tonsillitis, Cancer of the tonsil, Cyst in the tonsil, Abscess behind tonsil and so on.
The bruised palate and yellow on the soft palate with swollen tonsils with bumps on them can be due to infection. The other appearance can be due to granular pharyngitis.
Yes, This is a form of an infection and can very well be treated with antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medicines .
