What Causes Tasteless Tongue After Having Herbal Products?

Hi doctor i really appreciate for your help. I ve been using herbal products for weight management since October 1, 2014. My feel tasteless in my tongue and the taste of everything is not good and changed. i have no idea It is related to the herbal products or i got something wrong with my tongue and in general oral matters. I m also is a heavy smoker. thank you so much

The loss of taste can be because of the loss of papillae over the tongue secondary to drugs(herbal products), anemia, nutritional deficiency or smoking. Nothing to be panic, consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. Mean while you can take multivitamins like vitamin B6 and B12. Stop smoking.
