What Causes Temperature And Pink Color Above The Eyelids?

Hello,my 6 yr old daughter has just come to me saying that she feels sick.i have looked at her face and noticed that she has a light pink colour under her eye and above(her eye lid).she feels as though she may have a temp also.i am unsure as to what could be wrong with her and I greatly appreciate your professional opinion,thankyou jessica

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic.

It could be a viral illness and I suggest her you give her plenty of oral fluids and you can treat fever with Paracetamol at 15mg/kg/dose every 4-6th hourly if fever is > 100F. For redness in the eyes you can wash them frequently with clean cold water.
