What Causes Temperature Spikes Day And Night?

I have been having temperature spikes, day and night, periodically, now for approximately, the 6 months to a year. Antibiotics help a bit while I m on them. But usually by the end of the course, I m back to running temps. I feel really tired and unwell, when this happens. I would appreciate your opinion on this. Thanks, Susanne ,

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello,
welcome to HCM,
its not a good practice to take antibiotics without being prescribed.
there may be some other cause for your fever.
the causative microorganism may be different and the antibiotic you are taking may not be working.
do consult a doctor,
get proper investigations done, seeing the causative organism, proper antibiotics, can be taken, only if needed.
I find this answer helpful
