What Causes Temporary Dark Spot In Vision Post An Eye Injury?

I got hit in the face/eye by a basketball after it bounced hard off the backboard during a game. Directly after I got hit I had a dark spot in my vision but it went away after about five minutes. Should I be worried about any vision problems or concussions or anything?
