What Causes Temporary Vision Blackouts In Children?
My 16 year old son has been experiencing temporary vision black outs lasting around 5 seconds at a time. These are happening daily sometime lay multiple times and have been going on for several months. He is physically fit and is a wrestler and competes in mixed martial arts.
your son should be subjected to complete eye examination. what is happening is transient ischemia. it may be hypoxia. considering his wrestling background MRI brain may be taken to exclude old head injury. may be it is injury related. he should protect his head in such sports.
