What Causes Tender Painful Pimple Above The Ear And Below Airline?
hi doc,
I am 26, 150cm tall and 50kg.for the past tow or three weeks, I had a cold, went to the doctor and was given antibiotics which I dint finish.right after that I started coughing and until now am still coughing.the problem is that my throat is sore and whenever i start coughing, i feel like am gonna choke and i run out of breath for a few seconds then I drink water and and back to normal again until my next coughing attack.now the bigger problem is that a week ago, I noticed a painful pimple -like pain above my ear and below my hairline.it started growing so I thot it was a boil(boyle) but the pain is kind of diminishing and its growing smaller.it doesnt feel like it has any fluid but is tender to touch.am going to see a doc but I thot I could get some help from u first.should I be worried? I dont know whats happening to me.thank you.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have tender painful pimple above the ear and below airline which occurs when sebum get accumulated along with dead skin and bacteria in clogged pore of sebaceous gland. Need not to worry. Exfoliate your skin once a week to remove the dead skin from your face. You should start with Accutane as it contains isotretinoin and is used to treat severe acne. Avoid touching or picking pimple. If condition doesn't start getting better in a week then consult dermatologist for proper examination and treatment. Doctor may prescribe oral antibiotic course clindamycin. You should go for chemical peeling and laser therapy. Drink plenty of water. Apply betnovate on acne twice a day for 2-3 days. Take diet rich in fruits , green leafy vegetables and salad.
