What Causes Tenderness And Blisters Near The Injury On The Hand?

I was in motorcycle accident 2 months ago and had some deep rash on my hands. They formed scabs and came off - but the skin now is very tender and they have formed almost like a blister in place of the scab...it is very tender.... but almost solid to the touch .. not like fluid inside.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your history of trauma induced skin lesion, my advice is-
1. Keep the wound clean. Clean it with betadine and apply mild antibiotic cream like soframycin on it.
2. Placentrax gel can be used twice daily as it will help in better healing.
3. Take painkiller like ibuprofen for pain as and when needed.
4. Ideally there is natural healing process for 3 months. Other methods of scar removal can be tried after 3 months.

Thanks.
