What Causes Tenderness And Soreness In Upper Stomach Indicate?

I have an GB ejection rate of 13%, occasionally I will have tenderness or soreness in the right upper part of my stomach and sometimes in my shoulder blades. I ve been having a lot of headaches lately, nauseous (especially in the morning) Tubal in 2002. I also have gas, belching, and a lot of bloating, and lots of cramping and diarrhea occasionally. I have had all the test done, endoscopy, colonoscopy, and hida scan which showed the low ejection right. My GI doctor first said that I have IBS and now has suggested to have my gallbladder removed. My questions, is neither he nor my surgeon can guarantee that my symptoms will go away or not become worse. I don t want to continue living the rest of my life w/ these issues, (some days are really bad & some days are really good) however, I m scared that after the surgery, I m going to be worse all the time w/ no good days. Is it better to leave it in or take a chance to take it out? I m so confused & my doctors aren t much help. I have been dealing w/ this for over 3 years & has caused me a great deal of anxiety....I just want my life back.

Welcome to HCM: Please note that these are symptoms associated with dyspepsia. It would seem to me that you have cholecystitis. This means inflammation of the gallbladder. Removal of the gallbladder will definitely help with his symptoms. Good luck I hope this helps.
