What Causes Tenderness And Stiffness After Rolling The Ankle At A Jump Park?

Hi so I was just at a jump park and I jumped and landed on the outside of my ankle (rolled it) nmand it hurt very badly at the moment but then it got better and I can walk on it but it feels tender and sore and stiff. There is no swelling but a little bit of redness. Any idea what I did to it?

Hello,

Get clinically examined by a GP, get X-ray ankle (AP & Lat) done. If required you may have to get done MRI, CT / Ultrasound. In the meantime, give rest to your foot. Keep it elevated on a pillow when on bed and on a stool when sitting. Use of cold compression and compression bandage may be helpful. You are advised to take acetaminophen or naproxen, one stat after lunch. It will help to give relief. Do not try to walk unnecessarily. Stay at rest.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
