What Causes Tenderness And Swelling Under The Eye?

Hi, I have noticed the last couple of days that the area underneath my right eye is very tender to the touch. If I slightly press on what would be the lower part of my eye, it s quite uncomfortable. I ve woken up this morning and my under eye is very slightly swollen but I cannot see anything of concern when I pull the lower part down. Any ideas??

Hello
Welcome to Health care magic.

I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having tenderness and swelling of the eye.
These symptoms indicate infection of inflammation involving the glands of the eyelids. This requires treatment by the use of antibiotic eye drops and anti-inflammatory drugs.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination for confirmation of diagnosis and treatment accordingly.

Hope this information is helpful to you.

Thank you
