What Causes Tenderness In Lower Left Front Side Of Body And Fainting?

My husband NEVER complains. He is 65 and in good health, however, last week he had to sit down to avoid fainting. A couple of hours later he raked 15 bags of leaves to "prove nothing was wrong with him". Yesterday he had a tenderness in the lower left front side of his body. He really is so tender he doesn't want anyone to touch that area. He says he is going to work. Should he go to work, and make a doctor's appointment, go to work and see if it gets better, or go to the Emergency Room? Thank you.

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Possible muscle spasm due to excessive muscular work.
2. Will require rest.
3. If severe pain, would require analgesics with muscle relaxants.
4. Not to worry for now. Fainting could have been due to anemia or dehydration. Ask him to take plenty of water. Get hemoglobin level checked for anemia.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
