i have started a gym 2 weeks ago due to being overwieght by around 4 stone.
since doing alot of excercise i have now got alot of pain in my right testicle but cant find any lumps as it is just painful and swollen slightly.i am 42 and just wanted some advice.
Hi. Thanks for your query. If the pain in the has started only after the a lot of exercises, this can be connected to the Gym activities. The probable causes can be as follows: -Straining of the Cremaster muscle which supports the testes and comes as an extension of the abdominal muscles . The strain on this muscle can cause the testis to get elevated and rotated hence causing the pain and swelling you have. -Pre-existing orchitis can get enhanced with the exercises.
I would advise you the following: -Physical Examination by the General Surgeon or Urologist. -Ultrasonography and color doppler examination of the scrotum and urogenital system -Scrotal support during exercises.
