What Causes Testicular Pain And Infection?

My boyfriend recently started having pain in his testicles. He went to the hospital yesterday and they told him that he has an infection, and that he got it from me. Now I am worried. I know I don't have any type of disease such as HIV, herpes etc...So what would have caused this?

Welcome to health care magic.

1.Testicular pain can be infective / inflammatory cause, this infection can be even UTI - urinary tract infection which cause the infections.
2.This infections are not compulsory to be an STD sexually transmitted disease.
3.In this case i would have recommended to get a ultrasound scan done.
4.Ultrasound will describe the parenchymal status, its vascularity and presence of any mass lesion, fluid collection.
5.Treatment in this case could be a course of antibiotics . Good luck.

Hope i have answered your query.
