Hi, I am trying to find out what reverse t3/ t3 ratio to make sure that the levels are optimal. My free T3 is 2.8 pg/ml and my reverse T3 is 12 ng/dl. My free T4 is .87 ng/dl. They all fall into the healthy range...but I want to know if they are proportioned correctly. Also, my T3 seems to be on the low side. I am wondering what the IDEAL numbers are. Thanks!
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
If your free T3, Free T4 and TSH levels are normal then don't worry about low T3 level. Slightly low T3 level may be due to normal variation and if TSH is normal then no treatment is required. Just repeat your T3, T4 and TSH level once.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
