Hello dear, thanks for writing in.
It looks like you have had a
miscarriage. As you haven't provided me with complete details I can only assume two possibilities.
1. Firstly, your menstrual age is not corresponding to
gestational age due to delayed ovulation and it is a very early
pregnancy where baby heart beat hasn't yet appeared and a follow up examination is scheduled for looking out for a progress ( baby heart activity ). And the tablets must be pre conceptional
vitamins.
2. Secondly, that you have already expelled the products of conception ( if that is what you mean by saying they don't see the baby ) or the baby s heart beat is not found now which was previously detected. The latter is called a missed miscarriage. In both the scenarios, your doctor must have prescribed you
abortion pills in order to either complete abortion process or to induce one. And a 2 week follow up is scheduled for confirmation of complete abortion after the tablets have done their duty. Sadly, you will not be able to see baby in the follow up examination.
As I m not sure of your concern, I have laid down possible scenario and what you can expect in both cases. Hope this helps. Take care.
