Hello and welcome to HCM. Your concern is understandable. In a neurogenic bladder, caused by spinal nerves controlling bladder function, and diagnosed by an urodynamic test, and ultrasound scan, self intermittent clean catheterisation(SICC), is the best option. Vesicare(Solifenacin), helps to relax the bladder muscles from contracting. As an Urologist, i always advise self catheterisation, so you're confident. Residual urine and trabeculated bladder are normal changes in neurogenic bladder. If you've any doubts, you may contact me with all reports. Wish you well.
