Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
According to your description there is possibility of blighted ovum which means only gestational sac will develop without the fetal pole. As in your case fetal pole is not seen even after 8 weeks there is only little hope for progression of pregnancy. If you are having wrong dates and you think that the gestational age is not correct, you can wait for one more week and repeat the ultrasound. If the ultrasound still shows the blighted ovum only better to go for induced abortion with your doctor's advice.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
