I am 43 years old and decided two weeks ago to start running. after a week my shins and my knees were killing me so I had to stop. My shins are better now but my knees are constantly throbbing whether I am standing, sitting, walking etc... why do they still hurt and what can i do to make them better?
Hi you have gone through unhabitual running. Now rest is needed to heal this. It will take about 2 to 3 weeks to heal Once you are off pain then start running again but gradually increasing .
