What Causes The Lips To Turn Black In A Baby?

My cousin went into labour a week ago. Full term, but due to unknown complications. The baby died 15minutes later. After the baby was autopsied, and returned to us her lips were purple/black. The clinician said it was due to dehydration?? Is it??

Hello, yes mam at times baby bleeds into placenta after death and that causes acute blood deficiency and thus lips turn black
