What Causes The Painful Sensation On The Left Of The Face And Under The Eye?

I have had TN in the past (years ago). Today I am now feeling a painful/odd sensation in the left side of my face, near my temple, under my left eye, into the top of my head and in front of my ear. My left eye is squinting without meaning to and it is uncomfortable to eat and talk.
