hi im jing my ob diagnose that i have a pid,then she ask me to have a lab test on my partner if he is positive of all kind of test but all of the test are negative is it posible that i can get a pid even if my partner are negative of all the test and i has no other partner since ever

Hi,

Yes, it is possible that you can have pelvic inflammatory disease even if your partner doesn't have it, as it occurs in female genital tract. I would suggest you to start a course of doxycycline 100 mg for 14 days, tablet metronidazole 400 mg for 14 days, tablet itraconazole 200 mg for 4 weeks and drotaverine for cramping pain.
