A few years ago I noticed a tiny pink spot on my finger no larger than a pin head that is still there. This evening I noticed a tiny Black scab like spot on my thumb. When I removed the scab it revealed an identical pink spot or hole. What could this be?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
As per your case history, you are suffering from a Purpuric rash. My treatment advice is:
1. Do not scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like Fusiderm cream on it. 3. Take a vitamin C supplement for 3 months. If the problem persists, then consult a dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
